Since graduating from The National Theatre School of Canada and Stratford's Birmingham Conservatory, Amy has worked in theatre, film and television with many of Canada’s leading directors and playwrights. She has performed internationally in Europe, Africa and America. Recent theatre credits include Fifteen Dogs at Montreal's Segal Centre and Soulpepper Theatre's A Streetcar Named Desire, for which she won a Toronto Theatre Critics Award for her role as Blanche DuBois. Recent TV credits include Murdoch Mysteries and Kim's Convenience. Amy is also a celebrated playwright. Her play, Mortified, won The Playwrights Guild of Canada's Carol Bolt Award for Best Play of 2018.
